As a board member of the charity organization, Klovneløpet, Kentaro promised to run 10 meters for every kroners that were collected. Klovneløpet were able to collect 10,600 NOK, and thus the goal was to run 106 km. Having only run 2 marathons in the past, tackling this distance in 24 hours would indeed be challenging.
